Skriber Raises $1.3M to Help Clinicians Take Back Their Time

We’re excited to share a major milestone for Skriber: we’ve officially closed our oversubscribed pre-seed funding round, raising $1.3 million to continue our mission of ending documentation burnout for clinicians everywhere.

This round was co-led by Seed2B and Morgan Creek, and supported by an incredible group of investors who bring deep expertise in healthcare, artificial intelligence, and building successful early-stage companies. The fact that the round was oversubscribed speaks volumes about the urgency of the problem we’re solving—and the confidence in our ability to solve it.

But this is about more than capital.

It’s about momentum.

It’s about execution.

And it’s about having the right people around the table—people who’ve built clinical AI companies before, who understand the complexity of healthcare systems, and who are already making key introductions for us to scale faster and smarter.

“Their belief in our mission to give clinicians back precious time is a powerful validation,” said Skriber CEO, Hayden Plummer. “The strategic guidance and network these investors bring—especially within healthcare and cutting-edge AI—will be pivotal as we grow.”

Why This Matters Right Now

Clinicians are burned out. Documentation is eating into time that could be spent with patients—or spent recovering between shifts. Skriber is changing that by giving providers a smart, fast, and intuitive AI-powered assistant that automates SOAP notes and integrates directly into existing EMRs.

We’ve recently rolled out a major platform upgrade that’s already helping thousands of providers work faster and more efficiently. Some of the biggest improvements include:

  • 3x Faster Processing – near-instant documentation that keeps up with your pace.
  • “Talk to Skriber” AI Assistant – use natural language to edit, summarize, and manage your notes.
  • Support for 99 Languages – accurate documentation across a diverse patient population.
  • Enterprise-Ready UI – a seamless experience across desktop and mobile.
  • Smart Diarization & Formatting – automatic structure and medical formatting for compliance.
  • Customizable Templates – tailor your notes to your workflow and specialty.

Plus, Skriber is built to connect with the EMRs you already use—Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, and others—making implementation seamless and scalable.

What’s Next?

This funding will help us:

  • Scale the platform to meet growing demand
  • Expand our R&D team to stay ahead on AI innovation
  • Build out customer support and sales to better serve both large healthcare systems and independent providers

The vision is clear: free up time, fight burnout, and bring joy back to clinical work.
